How Does Dr. Hatchett Decide Which Treatment Option To Choose?
There are two diagnostic procedures that will give him the answers he needs to select which BPH treatment option will be best for you:
-
Flexible Cystoscopy
This diagnostic is designed to look down the urethra and into the bladder. This also will give Dr. Hatchett visualization of the anatomy of the prostate and the bladder. -
Transrectal Prostate Ultrasound
This is designed to measure the total volume and size of the prostate.
After performing these two diagnostic procedures, Dr. Hatchett will meet you in the Same-Day Surgery area in order to discuss which treatment option is the best for your particular prostate anatomy.
